OnePlus 10 Pro receives a new update with the May 2022 security patch

According to recent reports, OnePlus is preparing to introduce a new flagship called OnePlus 10 Ultra. This will be the first “Ultra” smartphone that will bear the name of OnePlus and will surely bring attractive specifications to honor this trend. The device will obviously be on top of the OnePlus 10 Pro powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. According to rumors, it will pack the newest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a more powerful and ambitious camera configuration. While the new device is not coming, the OnePlus 10 Pro is still the most important device on the OnePlus priority list. As usual, the company provides software support for its recent release. Today, the first flagship of 2022 is download update with fixes, improvements and most importantly, security update May 2022.

Obviously, the new update brings the usual set of improvements to the stability of the phone system. Additionally, it fixes some issues and bugs that were found in the previous software. The new update has the version number NE2211_11.A.15. It is currently available in India to a limited number of users. However, the company states that a wider mood will start in the coming days. The OnePlus 10 Pro was released in early 2022 in the Chinese market. It reached the world markets just a few months ago. Thus, this may still be one of the first updates that customers receive worldwide. It is worth noting that the Chinese version runs on ColorOS 12, while the universal version runs OxygenOS 12.

Remember that the OnePlus 10 Pro packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It also features a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with Quad HD + resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The panel has a fingerprint screen below and a 32 MP selfie camera with a hole. In terms of optical components, there is a 48 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide snapper and an 8 MP telephoto lens. The phone is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging up to 80 W.
