Despite all the difficulties, Huawei’s presence in the smartphone market continues, new devices are slowly appearing. For example, Huawei previously had a presentation where it introduced several of its new products, including the foldable Huawei Mate Xs 2. Now it is preparing to introduce a simpler smartphone – the Huawei Nova 10. It announced that the company is ready to present it through a teaser.
Unfortunately, the poster itself turned out to be uninformative and its only task is to say that the Huawei Nova 10 series is coming and it also testifies that an advertising campaign was launched to promote new products in the market. Obviously, new smartphones will be available before the end of June and before the announcement, the company will have time to signal the release of several teasers that reveal details about the Huawei Nova 10 series smartphones.
The Huawei Nova 10 is rumored to receive a 4G version of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 or Dimensity 8100. The new features should provide updates to the cameras and Harmony software. Almost certainly, the focus will be on the selfie camera, because the Nova series devices have always been devices for the young audience.
The Huawei Nova 10 promotional campaign has started
In addition to the Huawei Nova 10, on Monday, several Chinese media outlets reported that Dr. Wang Chenglu, chief developer of Huawei HarmonyOS operating system and head of software development, had left Huawei. He changed his Weibo page to remove the official one Huawei certification. There are no reports for specific reasons.
Wang Chenglu graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with a PhD in Engineering. He joined Huawei in 1998 and has served as President of the Core Network product line, President of the Central Software Institute, and President of the Consumer Software Division. He then led the development of HarmonyOS.
His last public appearance was at the Huawei Developers Conference last October. Some users have noticed that Wang’s name has disappeared from Huawei WeLink’s smart cloud platform.
Wang Chenglu is also reported to have joined Shenzhen Kaihong Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd. It is a high-tech company specializing in Internet of Things (IoT) operating systems. Founded jointly by Shenzhen Capital Holdings Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of the Shenzhen People’s Government Commission for Supervision and Management of State Assets), Hubble Technology Venture Capital Co., Ltd. (wholly owned by Huawei) and Beijing.
