Google’s top-of-the-line processor, Google Tensor 2, will continue to build Samsung. This new flagship processor will use Samsung’s Ln 4nm process. Remember that both the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the Exynos 2200 use this process. However, Qualcomm no longer favors the process as it has now switched to TSMC’s 4nm process for the SoC Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
Additionally, Google Tensor 2 will use the ARMv9 command suite. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is the first ARMv9 command chip in the world. ARM officials say this is the most important innovation in the last 10 years. In addition, the company also claims that this technology is the foundation of future ARM 300 billion chips.
Compared to the previous generation ARMv8, the ARMv9 command set will no longer be limited to the mobile / embedded market.
