A few days ago, a supposed prototype Google Pixel 7 appeared on eBay, with photos of the device turned on. The prototype of the Pixel 7 Pro has now been found in live images on the internet. What is more interesting is that this prototype was used for about three weeks without anyone realizing it.
The information comes from the reddit section of Google Pixel, where a user revealed that he had been using the supposed Pixel 7 Pro for about three weeks without realizing it was a phone that had not been released. However, the user did not share any image of the smartphone. The images were discovered at Slashleaks.
The leaked photos show the smartphone screen, which includes the device info page as well as the bootloader screen. The back of the Pixel 7 Pro looks a lot like the back of the Pixel 7, except that the Pro version adds an extra camera, as shown in the photos.
A new metal rear camera case with a cornice-like appearance may appear on the gadget. The Pixel 7 Pro seems to have the same curved screen as its predecessor on the front. The photos also indicate that the phone has 256 GB of storage and 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

The design and appearance are still good, but we’re not sure why the name appears as “Cubot Cheetah 2” in Device Information. It’s the name of an old, extremely old smartphone made by Cubot, a Chinese smartphone maker.
The future Google Pixel 7 series may have the same screen as the current Pixel 6 series, according to earlier rumors. Future smartphones, on the other hand, will include significant improvements in terms of camera, processor and software. The Pixel 7 series will make its debut in October this year.
According to a recent leak, Google may be working on a new premium Pixel smartphone. Thus, in addition to the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, another higher class model may appear in the future. This data was available in the Android Open Source Project code.
The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are codenamed Panther and Cheetah, respectively. And the leak contains two more “cat” code names – Felix and Lynx. One of them belongs to the economical Pixel 7a, which will be the successor of the Pixel 6a. The second, probably, refers to a more premium device.
Experts believe it could be Google’s foldable Pixel smartphone. Another screen is being prepared for this (probably a foldable one). The device itself has the number G10. However, more details on this will appear in the coming weeks.
