There are many companies designing smartphones with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It seems that, after years, the SoC Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will be the most successful CPU release in the middle of Qualcomm year. Obviously, Vivo is also designing a smartphone with this chipset – the Vivo X80 Pro +. The missing variant in the X80 series will come with the newer CPU and obviously will not arrive on its own. The company is also preparation a Vivo X80 Lite for release and will be introduced worldwide with Pro +. The Vivo X80 series was released in India last month and we also expect these upcoming phones to join them in the Indian market.

The Vivo X80 Lite 5G was spotted by humans on Rootmygalaxy. According to them, the Chinese brand has already started developing the handset firmware. It has model number V2208 and will be released later this year. Unfortunately, there is not much to say about the device right now. However, this is not a big surprise, as we still have almost four months to wait until the handset is released. Of course, in this world of leaks, we expect the device to have pre-release details.

The specs of the Vivo X80 Lite are still a mystery

At present, there is not much room for speculation. However, the X series is really important for Vivo, so we do not expect the Lite to be a low-end smartphone. The device will most likely have upper middle class specifications. It may even be Vivo’s first Smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. The other headphones carry the ZEISS mark on the camera. Lite can bring them too, which can be an attractive aspect of this cheaper variant.

There are many questions right now, but they will not go unanswered for long. Ultimately, the device will likely go through rounds and certification rounds before release. In addition, there are dozens of leaks that will keep this unreleased device on their radar for now and then.

Interestingly, there is a supposed X Vivo series device that went through TENAA in recent days. However, it has a different model number.
