Vivo has been rolling lately. Last month, the company unveiled a number of promising devices, such as its first foldable smartphone, a huge flagship that replaces the NEX series and the Vivo Pad. The company also introduced the Vivo X80 series to the world. This month, the company brings the Vivo X80 to global markets and has just introduced the new Vivo S15 series in China. Now, the company still has one device to present, but it is a mediocre release. The company introduced the Vivo Y75 5G earlier this year, however, as there is still demand for 4G phones, the company found several reasons to disclose the Vivo Y75 4G.

Vivo Y75 4G Specifications

As expected, Vivo has just introduced the new Vivo Y75 4G and it has some highlights. For example, the device displays a 6.44-inch Full HD + AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. Under the hood, the phone carries the MediaTek Helio G96 SoC Octa-Core processor. Combines with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The device also offers 4 GB of expandable RAM, which is basically the company’s concept of virtual RAM. The Helio G96 is probably the biggest disappointment, after all, this chip uses the old 12 nm manufacturing process and has old ARM Cortex-A76 cores. Anyway, it still performs better than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 which is just a modern Snapdragon 665.

Vivo Y75

In terms of optics, the Vivo Y75 has a dual rear camera layout. There is a 50 MP snapper with f / 1.8 aperture, an 8 MP ultrawide shooter and a 2 MP macro snapper. For selfies and video calls, the phone has 44 MP AF on the front with f / 2.0 aperture. The phone uses the waterdrop design language and is one of the best choices for selfie lovers in the middle class.

In addition, the device has a 4,050 mAh battery and a fast charge of 44 W. In terms of software, the Vivo Y75 runs Android 12 with Funtouch OS 12 on top. Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C port, 7.36mm screen and 172-gram fingerprint scanner.

Pricing and Availability

The Vivo Y75 costs around 20,999 INR ($ 270) for the unique version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The device is available in Dancing Waves and Moonlight Shadow colors. It will go on sale today on Flipkart, the Vivo online store and offline stores.
