Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is currently developing a new smartwatch that recently passed Chinese 3C certification. The model of this device is M2134W1 and that supports 5W charging. In addition, the certification reveals that it is accompanied by “audio playback and storage functions”. The watch was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on April 29. According to popular tech blogger Weibo @DCSthis watch “does not support eSIMand the bracelet is large“.
Xiaomi current watches include the Xiaomi Watch S1, Xiaomi Watch Color 2 and Redmi Watch 2, which do not support eSIM. The first generation of Xiaomi watches in 2019 had a built-in eSIM chip with full capabilities. This allows it to support independent telephone calls and Internet access. However, for some reason, the company did not continue with this feature.
The Xiaomi Watch S1 Active sports performance features three color options
The Xiaomi Watch S1 business smartwatch was officially released late last year. According to the latest news, a small facelift of the watch is coming. The odds announced by 91mobiles show that Xiaomi will release the Watch the S1 Active sports edition. The design will be tougher than the Watch S1, with a round dial and silicone strap. The two natural buttons on the right also have a new design from circular to elongated – in three colors.
The odds also show that the hoop will be engraved with the words – Home, Sports, Outdoor, Active. μιEach word on the right corresponds to a button, so we can guess that there are two buttons on the left.
Xiaomi Watch S1 has a 1.43 inch AMOLED display, 326 PPI and 470 mAh battery with battery shelf life 12 days. The watch also uses magnetic charging, supports Bluetooth calls and dual frequency GNSS placement. In addition, it supports 117 sports functions as well as sleep, heart rate and oxygen detection in the blood. The Xiaomi Watch S1 Active Sports will likely continue to meet these specifications and improve sports performance.
